Rachel Chambers found her passion later in life. She fast-tracked her career diving full force into an artform she loved. Within three years she became a salon owner and educator. She has a passion for giving back to her craft and showing stylists fundamental tools for fast effective techniques that make your life easier. Her whole goal as an educator is to unleash a stylist’s potential behind the chair. Her well-rounded techniques in consultation, formulations, and techniques will elevate stylists and salon owners to the next level. She is a blonde specialist and a master at color correction admittedly because she learned the hard way. “I love what I do.” I get to transform not only hair but people’s lives daily. Dean Fries is the owner of Shears Talk. He brings more than 26 years of experience representing many beauty brands directly to salons and barber shops. Fries is passionate about education and working with stylists and barbers on new and innovative cutting tools on the market. Some of those tools include special ergonomic shears that provide movement to prevent injury and body strain over many years. Fries believes there are vital questions that need to be asked when purchasing a pair of shears, and wants to educate beauty professionals so they are empowered to make the best decisions possible when considering new tools.
